Swim Practice for Remainder of Year
As we near the end of swim season it is time to start looking forward to the schedule for the rest of the school year. Those athletes who have completed their swim season will being “off season” starting tomorrow.
1st period practice will be from 6:45-7:45, 7th period practice will be from 1:45-2:30.
On Mondays and Wednesdays, we will be in the pool swimming, working on stroke technique/stroke strength.
On Tuesday and Thursdays, we will be in the weight room lifting or on the track running.
On Fridays, we will play a fun game of some sort. I will let the kids know on Thursday if that game is in the pool or outside.
Water polo season is fast approaching…. 2 weeks away!!!! This week and next week we will have open pool from 2:30- 3:30. I would highly recommend attending as many of these as possible to get in the pool and knocking off some rust or to start learning some of the ins and out from the returning players. The first water polo practice will be the afternoon of February 18th from 1:00-3:00.
Water polo suits have been sized, I have attached the ordering link to place the order for your suit. This link needs to be filled out before the end of Wednesday so that we can place the order and receive the suits before the first games.

2019-2020 Swim Team Try Outs
The try out flyer for the 2019-2020 Swim team has been finalized and is attached to this email. Please read the information on the flyer and if you have any other questions please feel free to reach out to me about them.
Athletic Period Sign Ups for 19-20 School Year
This year the school is making a change to how students sign up for athletic periods. Instead of selecting a course, boys will select boys swimming and girls will select girls swimming. THEN once we have try outs I will place athletes in the class period that best fits who they swam at tryouts. The boys swimming and girls swimming that you select will not reflect anything about being in 1st or 7th period.
